I am a budding cultural and linguistic anthropologist, avid tea drinker, insect enthusiast, and a adventurous traveler. I have an inordinate fondness for Central and East Asian cultures, coupled with an unbridled enthusiasm for indigenous languages and cultures in North and South America.

I have full linguistic proficiency in Chinese and Russian and have a working knowledge of Mongolian, Spanish and Quechua. I am interested in how cultures coexist along border regions and how to apply anthropological theory and ethnographic approaches to look deeper into cultural and socio-economic conflicts.
